CEDAR HILL, Texas – ARK Multicasting, a nationwide leader in Broadcast Internet technology, hailed the Senate confirmation of Jessica Rosenworcel as the first permanent chairwoman in the agency’s 87-year history.  Under Rosenworcel’s leadership as interim Chairwoman, the Federal Communication Commission worked tirelessly to close the Homework Gap by promulgating rules for the Emergency Connectivity Fund and the Emergency Broadband Benefit.  Rosenworcel’s leadership has been distinguished for both its sound policy and bipartisan consensus, earning many unanimous votes on numerous agenda items in her first year.

“ARK Multicasting looks forward to working with Chairwoman Rosenworcel on efforts to ensure every American has access to high-speed internet,” said ARK CEO Josh Weiss. “Ms. Rosenworcel’s support for datacasting in the Emergency Connectivity Fund order demonstrates her understanding of the important role broadcasters can play in ensuring all Americans enjoy high-capacity broadband networks. We look forward to working with her on this issue during her tenure,” added Weiss.
